I’m about to buy a … I’m about to buy a Zune HD in the next week or two. It’ll be a nice upgrade from my old basic 8gb Zune.
I’m a Zune fanboy so getting anything but a Zune HD was out of the question.
I am a bit jealous of the amount of apps on the Touch as compared to the Zune HD though. So I’ll be prayin’ Microsoft gets the ball rollin’ on the app market for their Zune.
i think dey r not … i think dey r not makin much apps cuz they are gonna intrigate the win phone 7 with zune. I think they will have the same marketplace.
I’ve looked into … I’ve looked into that briefly yesterday, and im pretty sure all they’re doing is remaking the windows mobile OS, and making it much more user friendly. and they call the OC windows 7 mobile…..im pretty sure the phones themselves are still made by an outside source though….ex. i saw one that was made by asus, another acer….etc. etc.
I think the Zune HD … I think the Zune HD came out way to late in the game, the iPod Touch and iPhone were already lightyears ahead in terms of content.
i know why there … i know why there are no new apps… me & a bunch of other developers are busy. There’s no point wasting time developing for Zune HD. Most of us are working on java apps for the Droid OS right now. But honestly… who wants to work on MS Zune? MS was really counting on a lot of “free-lance” developers… people who just take time out of their day to fool around and make apps for MS… but I don’t think any of us really care to waste our time on Zune. – oh what a ramble… but w\e
i;ve been ripping … i;ve been ripping the zune but i see a huge potential with the flash thing. im pretty sure they will not have problems with adobe developing like the ipod touch is having since they are in close ties with adobe.that can be good.

I dont own a Zune … I dont own a Zune nor an iPod touch but my guess on why it dosent have a lot of apps is maybe because like you said the apps are free and the developers dont get any type of incentive like apple has for some apps that people develop.
